Cyril Smith defends killer asbestos
Former Rochdale MP Cyril Smith is unrepentant in his active defence of asbestos production. He still denies the public at large have ever been at risk and that concern about health risks are overstated. Archived asbestos company Turner and Newall documents now prove that Cyril Smith had a very close working relationship with the asbestos giant. In 1981 Cyril Smith spoke in parliament to defend asbestos. Cyril asked T&N to write him the speech they would like to be heard.
